Kitchen Professional

Department: Back of House Operations
Location: La Plata, MD

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Kitchen Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating and providing safe and high-quality tasting food for our guests. As a valued member of our kitchen staff, you will collaborate with the team to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, coordinate food and beverage service, and ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Coordinate food and beverage service, focusing on creating safe and high-quality tasting food.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and timely preparation of food.
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and storage areas.
- Train new team members on food safety practices and quality standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory and stocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Professional or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
